I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One in Sep 2021
Interview
Interview process was streamlined. First round consisted of a Capital One product which I had to do market research on. The final round consisted of 3 interviews - Analyst case study involving breakeven and margin, Product interview where I discussed about a project where I acted as a product manager, and a product design interview where I had to suggest improvements after reading a case study. I received very good feedback from all interviewers. I honestly don't know what the company is looking for, as I know a senior who herself said that she did very poorly in an interview but she still got an offer. Unsure of the hiring practices.

Question 1
Capital One product, Analyst case interview, Product Design (Improvement), Project that I worked on.
It was ok, brush up on interview styles like consulting cases, be able to sovle a mckinsy case with ease, and you'll be ok. I messed up on some calculations (although I rectified myself) but wasnt able to land the offer
There was an online assessment followed by the first round which is a mini product case (from one of Capital One's products like Shopping, CC). They provided a lot of preparation material for the case.
You get emailed a case study with questions you must answer during your interview. In that case study you will be given 3-4 Cap1 products that the interviewer will ask you questions about. Focus on what the product is excelling at and the weaknesses and how you can improve the product.
