First you have a phone screen that is performed by the recruiter. This is non-technical. If you pass and they are interested you are then tested with a personality test and some math, depending on job that you are applying for. If you pass that test you are then interviewed by the hiring manager and 2 others that will see if you are a good job fit as well as a behavioral interview. They are very thorough and want to see if you will fit in well with the team.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Capital One (Remote, OR) in Aug 2016
Interview
I had to take an unusual personality test written in Europe. Apparently I passed, although there was no actual feedback regarding the results. The next step was a phone interview with the hiring manager. At the end of a 40 minute conversation I was asked a question regarding prior experience in commercial banking. This was not mentioned as a mandatory requirement and my resume has not indicated I had any. I felt like we both could have saved a lot of time, would this have been clearly outlined as a disqualifying element in the job description or at the beginning of the whole process.
