Ive heard great things about this company so I applied and was called for an interview about 2 weeks later, however I had a negative experience during my interview. I did my research before going to the interview and looked very fashionable and professional. The General Manager who does recruiting for the company in various areas interviewed me and another candidate at the same time, he did not know what we were interviewing for until he took us outside. The other person was interviewing for Sales Associate and myself for management, which was odd. He asked questions such as... What do you know about Michael Kors? Tell me about your experience. The other questions were all about fashion such as... Who is your favorite designer? Do you own anything Michael Kors? and if so What? We answered and he followed it with an arrogant tone by saying I need my assistant manager to e,t breathe and live fashion and have a fashion degree and on and on. I was not asked about my management skills or what I was going to bring to the company. I have 10 years of retail management experience and a fashion degree which he overlooked since I told him I like more then one designer. He was very rude and I found the interview to be very unprofessional and somewhat irrelevant. I was offended and upset after I left.
