Interview
I was approached by an outside recruiter. This was a laughably bad interview; I spent 90 minutes out of a scheduled 1 hour interview listening to the CMO prattle and drone on about his college days at Stanford and MIT...gossiping about who he thought should win the Golden Globe awards and a rambling history of his family background. When I asked what characteristics he was looking for in an employee, he rolled his eyes and said, "well, someone who can hold a conversation at the water-cooler. You know..." then went into yet another diatribe about the last "Sex and the City" movie. This was seriously painful.
