I believe Captivate.IQ does not have equitable and inclusive hiring processes. I went through two rounds of interviews with Captivate.IQ and was given a take home assignment and a scheduled third interview date to discuss this assignment. I spent hours working on this assignment and the night before the interview, the recruiter canceled my interview and told me the role was filled without acknowledging the work I had done. I responded with an email asking for feedback and recieved a call from the recruiter. They said they had started interviewing another candidate a week before me and decided to make an offer without seeing the rest of the candidates through due to stretched bandwidth. This is inequitable, lazy decision making. I believe Captivate.IQ needs to consult with experts in the diversity, equity, and inclusion space to improve their hiring practices.
I will say I did appreciate Captivate.IQ reaching out and clearing up the situation with me. They also provided feedback in an email about my assignment. I think Captivate.IQ had good intentions, but a lot of room to grow.
