I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at CarGurus (London, England) in Mar 2019
Interview
One of the internal recruitment teams had reached out to me and we setup a telephone call in which we discussed the role and how my skills are very well suited to the role. The recruiter had mentioned that the next step was to set-up a call between the hiring manager and myself, this was setup for a few weeks down the line as the hiring manager was on annual leave. The date and time came and went and there was no call, I emailed the internal recruiter, to which I received an our of office - I tried calling a number for the company to which just kept ringing out. I waited for the recruiter to return from annual leave (2 weeks after the scheduled call didn't take place) and emailed to ask what had happened - all I received back was radio silence, messaged said recruiter on LinkedIn and yet again no response. Utter waste of time, nothing ruder than to read an ignore someones email/message - especially someone that you reached out to - to come and work for your company.

Question 1
Could you describe your current role?
What does a normal day look like for you?
Thank you for sharing; your experience is very regrettable on our end, and far away from our team ethics. Please do reach out directly if I can help diagnose what happened or provide context. We appreciate the time and energy you spent with us and hopefully we can work together to clarify what happened.
