I was called for an initial phone interview in which I completed on a Friday. It took over an hour which seemed a bit long for a phone screen. I was told they’d call me Monday to set up an in person interview.. it ended up being closer to a week and a half before I received a call (I figured I was just not selected until that point). After completing the in-person interview, in which I was asked the exact same questions as I was with the phone screen, I was told I answered the questions well and would hear back from them by Friday (the interview was on a Wednesday). It’s been over a month and I have not heard anything. I feel it was unprofessional that I was never even sent a rejection email when I was told I would hear back regardless. It seems that there is some disorganization in the recruiting part of their HR team so I do not feel that not getting this position was a career loss by any means. I’m unsure of if this is relevant for other positions, but hopefully this is something they’re working to improve on.
