Carbon Black contacted me regarding an opening via LinkedIn. Discussing the opening with the recruiter showed it wasn't a great fit, but that they were still very interested in my background. Seeing other potential openings we talked about other possible openings at the company. At the time an opening that was the best fit wasn't available, but the company made an opening that fit my background to proceed with an interview. The interview consisted of a phone screen, a take-home programming quiz, and an on-site interview. The on-site interview was at the Waltham site where I met with various managers, engineers, etc. The experience was overall positive and I enjoyed discussing the opportunity with the engineers I met.
