CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Director interview questions

Two very bad and questionable experiences with CF. In one case after being recruited and following numerous informal conversations and formal phone interviews with HR recruiting person, and being told "we are looking at you for multiple opportunities", was scheduled for onsite interview with the hiring manager. I rearranged my schedule for that day and made the trip to CF only to have the hiring manager do a no show. In fact, the guards and staff couldn't locate this woman in the building. Worth noting this was a Friday and CF has a reputation for its managers being "off" on Fridays, or using their version of "WFH" on Friday's to go incognito. In the other case, which occurred two years earlier and was also a Sr management position, the HR recruiter followed the same aggressive MO tactic and implored "time was of the essence" with this particular position. A date was scheduled with the hiring manager and other members of the executive team and I was told the process would take 3-4 hours. I subsequently put off family vacation for the interview. Was advised to be on the look out for the names, times and locations of the various interviews in an email within a few days. That email never came and all attempts to follow up by phone and email on my part were met with a wall of silence. Clearly the HR recruiter went into avoidance mode, which I presumed was because they new how pissed off was in rearranging a family vacation for an interview that never took place. It's a shame these types of questionable HR recruitment and hiring practices are tolerated by a company such as CF. In reading through these experiences here on GD I see that mine is not an isolated case, moreover, there clearly is a prevalent issue(s), be it the process or people or combination there of, and their exists a culture at CF that allows and/or accepts such risky behavior and really bad candidate engagement.
