I had a call with the recruiter. I had the next round with the hiring manager. The interview went very very good. The hiring manager said he would love to get me onboard for the next round along with another candidate. So it was very positive. I heard back from the recruiter asking for my schedule to follow-up on the next final panel round. I gave my schedule and he disappeared. Not one person on the entire team cares enough to say we are not moving ahead. I prepared for the interview for days and I never heard back from them. HORRIBLE AND EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. How GREAT is your work environment when you do not have the basic decency to NOT string along candidates and ghost them. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE OVERALL. STOP NORMALISING GHOSTING AND HAVE THE BASIC RESPECT TO SAY NO. I am glad I didn't get a job with them. Imagine working for a company that doesn't value their employees. Also, if you are an international student, DON'T BOTHER. They sponsor based on your performance. First time hearing such nonsense. And oh, they want candidates to move immediately and work 5 days a week everyday for 2 months with ZERO relocation assistance. OVERALL - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
