Interview
Everything I researched deeply on the company culture, it was sadly hinted at during the interview process. Upon 2 video interviews rounds on a Director and RVP level, both times I had multiple personnel not show up at each meeting. This gives a bad impression that you are not worth their time, despite doing my due diligence on my end. It started when I read that CL was awarded the "Best Place to Work for" 6 years in a row, and was excited to know the why. I discovered that employees anonymously felt the opposite in regards to the values and care of their team. Upper management lacks DEI and when I asked, the question wasn't addressed properly. Upon confirming, this is the only big corporation I've encountered in EdTech where they put PTO AND sick leave in the same umbrella, getting only 10-15 days a year FOR BOTH! For a company that is advanced in its research and programs that generates profits, the CEO could invest in his employees more yet chooses not to. Then, I got ghosted after the RVP interview. Not all that glitters is gold. Do your deep research. The CEO should reward his staff with a generous benefit package and understand why he has such a low CEO score.
