I was contacted by a recruiter regarding a HR Business Partner role focusing on Recruiting/Relationship Management opportunity with Carrier. I met with one of the hiring managers whom I really connected with and was super excited after we connected. I was then contacted by the recruiting agent that the interview went really well and would like to move forward with the final step which would be with the Director of TA. To also give some preface I actually was ghosted by this company in the past maybe a couple of years ago, so shame on me for even dealing with them again. So my 2nd interview comes and I'm logged into my meeting and after 10 min no one showed up. I contacted the recruiter who gave a poor excuse stating he maybe out of power. It was an estimated guess which she guessed this was the issue since a hurricane passed a couple days prior, however it didnt hit us. 5days has passed and I haven't even gotten an apology nor a fake lie to take accountability of this type of disregard. I guess he is still without power I suppose, although this Director has been engaging actively on linkedin. Candidate experience is extremely important, I would never work for an organization with the lack of integrity and regard. To the Director that ghosted me SHAME on you. Also shame on the recruiter for trying to make excuses for him
