Interview
After sending in an application, it was about 3 weeks before receiving a call for an interview. I arrived 10 minutes early and was seen by the manager right away after getting there. She was very welcoming and kind. She told me a little bit about herself; why she chose to work for carters, how long she had been with them, and why she enjoys working for them. In turn she asked me about myself and afterwards went into interview questions. I only had brief retail experience before my job at Carters so she wanted to make sure I was willing to learn and grow in retail. She also informed me that there is quite a bit of theft so she asked if I would be open to learning and practicing techniques on theft incidents. At the end of the interview she told me she was impressed and that she wished to hire me. I started a little over a week after the interview after my background check went through.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you handle it when you have multiple tasks to perform?
Interview was good and recieved a call back next day, was shared around the store, and asked questions about customer service. This is great place to work for college students or a second job, as it is part time hours.
The process was not too long, with a screening interview by phone and an interview in-person with the store manager. They need to know about your communication skills and sales experiences.
