Interview
Applied via website. Reached out to within 3 days. Scheduled one day interview (long!). 8 interviews from 8a-5pm. Short break for lunch. Unstructured with a few consulting style cases. Got to meet al belies from VP to associates. Wanted to know about current work and how that work applied to the role. Asked for concrete examples dating back to undergraduate work.

Interview
1. Phone screen with the recruiter
2. Phone interview with hiring manager
3. Onsite interview with a project presentation
The first two steps were fairly standard. No curveball questions. There was about a week or two of silence until they told me I'm moving to the next and final round and that I'll need to prepare a presentation on their product.
The project was a bit vague and I was not able to get any clarity when I asked a few questions. I was not sure if they wanted depth and details or something more high-level. I thought the latter since they could not have expected me to know the fine details of their product. I also was not sure how much time they expected me to spend on this even when I asked.
During the onsite, I presented and people asked probing questions. Nothing too out of the ordinary. However, some questions I felt were appropriate for someone who had been working there as a PM, but not for someone who is just interviewing. I feel they wanted something way more detailed afterall, so I missed the mark there. They could have informed candidates of this because if you guessed incorrectly, you're pretty much out of the race.
Everyone was nice enough after the presentation. I met with about 5 individuals. 4 of them only asked behavioral questions. One asked technical questions to get an understanding your of your thinking.
I'm assuming I didn't get the job. I followed up twice in the span of 2 weeks and the recruiter hasn't responded. Prior to the interview, the recruiter was prompt in their response (usually within a few hours). So I'm assuming he purposely ghosted me. I think if you ask someone to spend time creating a presentation and having them come in for 4 ot 5 hours, you can at least spend 1 minute to email them your decision even if it's a rejection.

How would you design an app for [some specific population]? What would you consider?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Castlight (New York, NY) in Nov 2016
Interview
I applied for the position through the career site and was contacted within a week by their internal recruiter.
Scheduling an interview with the recruiter was rather painless and the interview lasted about an hour. The interview with the recruiter was rather formulaic, in that he straight up told me that his job is to fill out a spreadsheet full of questions that he's been given by the hiring manager. It was clear that he was reading the questions word-for-word off the sheet which made the interview feel soulless. It felt like I was being interviewed by someone from the DMV.
That being said, the interview went well and he told me that my skills and qualifications are impressive etc... and that I'd hear back from him within a week regarding next steps for scheduling the next interview with the hiring manager.
Later that day I sent a thank you email to the recruiter - I got no reply back.
A week later I sent a follow-up email to the recruiter - I got no reply back.
Two weeks later I sent a final email to the recruiter, just to see what happened - I got no reply back.
Unprofessional IMO....
