I was invited to apply by a Catalent recruiter. It was a 3 hour interview with multiple people and a panel of current validation scientist. I was humiliated during the entire time even though I was more qualified than several of the current validation scientists ( PhD vs Masters degree) and my current job experience had many overlapping responsibilities. Then during the panel interview one of the team members asked me how I plan to fulfill the challenging role with a new baby (the conversation of children came up for a different question). At the time I let it go because I was so horrified by the entire experience. Anyway, at the end of the interview the hiring manager did a bait and switch and offered a lower position (Night Shift) although the qualification requirements were much lower. I turned it down immediately. This was the worst interview experience I have had till date and a window into how this place functions. Interview was at the Winchester, KY location.
