Normal CV and cover letter submitted then invited to an online video interview. The video interview consisted of 5 questions mostly personality-based and did not take longer than 25min. The questions are timed but chance to review and repeat question.

Submit cover letter and question, followed by a telephone interview, then an assessment centre which involved a fun group task, individual presentations on a project of our choice, and an interview with 2 engineers.

Some technical questions on diesel combustion engines with no expectation of prior knowledge, they simply wanted to analyse thought process. The application was online and it took around 3 months to get to an assessment centre type interview.
