The interview was remote (COVID times), and felt awkward as it was clearly one of the first times this person had conducted a job interview. They weren't very clear about what they were looking for, or how the job would be broken down, and several times questions were asked that I had already provided answers to. At the end of the interview I was told I would be contacted soon either way, as they respected my time. It's been over 6 months, and I have yet to hear back. Apparently their definition of 'soon' and 'respecting someone's time' is different from mine.
