Initial phone screen followed by three in-person interviews with different members of senior leadership. Questions are typical behavior based questions. Initially the process went smoothly, two of the three people I was scheduled to interview with did not show. I interviewed with one person which went well and scheduled another in-person interview later in the week. For the next in-person interview, one of the two people I was scheduled to interview with did not show. Following my second in-person interview I was advised to call the following Monday to set up my final in-person interview. I followed-up as instructed four times with no response from the team. On my fourth and final attempt, I requested to withdraw my name from consideration, almost immediately I received a response indicating the team has decided not to move forward with the final interview. Overall Impression: While I enjoyed meeting with the two senior staff with whom I met, I can say that my overall impression of this team of people and the environment I was able to observe would not have been for me. Honestly observing and listening to conversations going on around me gave me the feel of being in a high school cafeteria. Many of the conversations I overheard in the lobby as staff left for lunch, were entirely inappropriate for the workplace, (in front of guests no less) and gave me the sense that it was not the place for me and that I would likely try to plot my escape sooner rather than later. In the end, it all worked well and I hope the team was able to find a good fit.
