I'll give the brief run down and then give a detailed experience. I applied online, had a phone interview, then an in-person interview, and an offer. The whole process took about 3 1/2 weeks. I applied at LASH at the beginning of July and was called by a recruiter a little less than a week later to discuss the position and to learn more about me and my background. The recruiter was very nice and, gave a lot of information about the company, its values and why it is great to work for them. I was told that my information would be forwarded to the hiring manager for review and I'd receive an email within 24 hours letting me know if I'd be moving on to the next step. I got an email about an hour after our phone call requesting times and dates I was available for an in-person interview with the hiring manager,and I ended up having the interview the next day. I met with the hiring manager as well as a coordinator in the department, and they were both very professional and friendly. As in a standard interview, they asked me questions about my working experience and education as well as questions regarding my work style and how I have and would handle certain situations. I also got to know them on a personal level and vice versa, and the overall interview was one of the most comfortable and enjoyable interviews I've ever had. I got a call from the recruiter I initially spoke with about a week and a half after the in-person interview and was offered the position! I start next week and I am so excited!
