I had applied to the job through linked and was reached by the recruiter. I had 30 mins call set up with the recruiter followed by 45 mins call with the hiring manager. The hiring manager explained the position org structure and other details for 20 mins. I spoke about myself and was barely asked any questions. The hiring manager did talk about other positions he had closed and gave a sense that he already had found a candidate. I was told the HR will get back to me in a week’s time. I have been ghosted with no response to the follow up I sent. I understand going forward with other candidates but lacking basic courtesy to inform candidates speaks volumes about the culture.
