I was called in the day before for an interview. I went in the next day, and to me everything went well. I can say that I was probably overqualified for the position, but I still wanted the position. The interviewer was nice and made me feel at ease. She explained clearly the specifics of the job, and also the mission of the organization. I was told that I would know by the end of the day since they needed someone immediately. I was called later that day and told I wasn't a good fit for the position.
