All interviews were done over the phone. First initial screening w/ a HR generalist then 3 days later with a senior HR person. These interviews were the basic confirm what is on the resume and why did you lave that position kind of questions. Each lasted 30 minutes. The third interview was with a "subject matter expert" who was the regional director of bakery and prepared foods. His questions seemed to center on how I managed others, esoteric baking knowledge and quite a bit of probing re: financials of my previous job with a major competitor. I got the feeling from the beginning of this 3rd interview that this guy was predisposed against me and I never could get my head above water with him. I asked several times in the 3 interviews for a more specific job description and why they were looking to fill the position and never got an answer. I found it very odd that all interviews were over the phone.
