Very arrogant and rude interviewer, just because you went to MIT doesn’t mean you have right to mock and laugh at applicants. I feel severely disrespected. Interviewer extremely condescending and doesn’t care about your feelings or respect you at all. One of the most unpleasant experiences I ever have!

Interview
Talk with recruiter was informal and lasted less than 10min. Went immediately into what was needed for take home assignment. Dropped some hints that work life balance wasn't going to be great and that everyone at the company works hard.

I applied online. I interviewed at Cepton in Apr 2021
Interview
Interview was rescheduled from their side over 4 times. Constantly changed timings with no prior notice. After several attempts, they chose a very random time for the interview.
A few questions asked at the interview where good fundamental questions about C++, computer vision, and linear regression. However, the interviewer made no attempt to understand the answer. Even responding with the same answer that I gave after several attempts of me explaining it. Seemed as though the interviewer made no effort to understand what the response is and is only concerned about extremely specific details and not the overall thinking process. Definitely not a good fit for anyone looking for an open minded interaction.
