I interviewed for the IT Engineer Apprentice role in the Spring. My resume was selected for an interview with their HR person, but I was not selected to move forward after the interview. I don’t have a lot of work experience and have not been in many interviews, so I was quite nervous. The gentleman that interviewed me sent me back a couple of long emails with feedback on my performance, certifications to work on, tips for future interviews, and overall nice words of encouragement. I was thankful for the experience, and hope to apply for the apprentice role next spring. Cerium is the only company that I have ever seen offer this kind of program, and it looks like the kind of opportunity needed for those trying to break into the tech world.

Both interviewers were engaging, and we had a thoughtful discussion about my background and how my experience fit in to what they are looking for in the apprenticeship program. Their questions were clear and not meant to confuse or disorient, it wasn't like a test as much as it was an exercise of determining 'fit'.
