Met with HR first so they could do a basic interview with very generic questions--why do you want the position, what are your good qualities/strengths, etc. After that, took a couple tests to make sure I was qualified/intelligent enough to get the position. I believe there were three parts: generic math and reading test, grammar test (specific, must know terms such as compound complex sentence), and an opinion survey. Next step was to meet and interview with the principal of the desired campus. Interview was much more specific, with questions that require more thought. The last step of the interview process was to do a teaching demo for a class while the principal and teacher observed.

Taking several tests to gage what level you should be teaching at. The school is academically advanced and focuses on children’s independence and is very patriotic. You should filter through more than one interview with the schools directors and then another written test. Testing knowledge of math phonics etc. A week of training during summer is expected for new teachers
