The interviewers asked me questions about my academic background and why I was interested in an internship in economic consulting and antitrust at CRA. Then they asked me to present an empirical project of mine: I described my bachelor thesis and explained the econometrics behind it. Finally, we moved to the discussion of a case study: the estimation of damages in a cartel case.

I applied online, 3 weeks to call to interview. the interview consisted of introduction and motivation, professional questions (about a merger of my choice and my thesis - mostly methodology) and a cartel damage estimation case study
Two Rounds; the first was an informational interview with two junior staff (analyst and associate). Very friendly, typical interview questions with an emphasis on econometrics and data science backgrounds. The second round was nearly four hours, with one formal case interview and two interviews with Principals.
