I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Charles River Associates (Boston, MA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Spoke to current employees before interviews. Applied through my college's recruiting site, and then got a first round on campus interview. Very basic questions. Second round was on site in the city, a marathon day of interviews. Didn't get any case interviews, to my surprise, as the questions focused on my past experience in similar work.

Question 1
Explain what you did for your econometric term paper, and how would you change it if you were to do it again.
Two technical interviews, with example real world scenarios. Real world scenarios could be BEC, ransomware, or dead-box forensics. Then, two "personality/vibe" interviews, where they asked about how you handle failure, difficult or new scenarios, and what your work approach is.
There are two rounds of interview for incoming analysts, One with two juniors, fairly quick and not technical. There was also a second interview with 4 rounds, each of which was with a more senior level person

Question 1
Why I am interested in the practice area I applied for
Smooth. 2 rounds of interview. A lot of questions surrounding research experiences and data processing. Not too many technicals. Many fit questions as well. Generally not difficult and got back to me pretty fast.
