I received an interview invitation shortly after applying for the role. The interview was mostly about my motivation for the role and my route until then, plus a business case about competition. I got rejected three weeks later, right after I sent a follow-up email.

The hardest question was about a business case. Basically they asked you what you would do in the case of a chocolate factory that started a cartel with other big firms, and how could you prove that they are not violating competition practices. They wanted to know a potential approach to this issue, and even asked me to briefly speak about a regression design, which data would I use, etc.

I applied online, 3 weeks to call to interview. the interview consisted of introduction and motivation, professional questions (about a merger of my choice and my thesis - mostly methodology) and a cartel damage estimation case study
Two Rounds; the first was an informational interview with two junior staff (analyst and associate). Very friendly, typical interview questions with an emphasis on econometrics and data science backgrounds. The second round was nearly four hours, with one formal case interview and two interviews with Principals.
