I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Charles River Associates (Tallahassee, FL) in Apr 2015
Interview
A friend of mine at another consulting firm referred me to someone in recruiting at CRA, I was also referred by an Associate Principal after meeting her on campus. I met with a VP to discuss/learn more about CRA. My formal interview consisted of meeting with groups of employees throughout a day and going to lunch with a couple of them.
The interview was straightforward and seemed to be mostly focused on how well I would fit in with the office and whether I could see myself enjoying the work. There was some discussing of statistics and a good amount of discussion of my background/education.
I had a very positive experience with everyone throughout the interview process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was given an example regression and asked how the coefficient on the interaction term would be interpreted.
Two technical interviews, with example real world scenarios. Real world scenarios could be BEC, ransomware, or dead-box forensics. Then, two "personality/vibe" interviews, where they asked about how you handle failure, difficult or new scenarios, and what your work approach is.
There are two rounds of interview for incoming analysts, One with two juniors, fairly quick and not technical. There was also a second interview with 4 rounds, each of which was with a more senior level person

Question 1
Why I am interested in the practice area I applied for
Smooth. 2 rounds of interview. A lot of questions surrounding research experiences and data processing. Not too many technicals. Many fit questions as well. Generally not difficult and got back to me pretty fast.
