I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Charlie Health in Nov 2025
Interview
This company recruited me on LinkedIn, so I decided to interview to see what it was about. It's 1099 with no benefits and extremely low pay. As an LMFT I was concerned that they have clients in an online IOP who may not appropriate for telehealth, in my professional opinion. However, the second woman interviewing me seemed annoyed that I was asking about patient safety issues, even though she had opened the floor to ask questions at the end! If the patients are actively suicidal as she was saying, I think I would refer the clients to an IOP through their local town or hospital. Also the group facilitator is expected to take clients in all 50 states, not just where they are licensed as a therapist. It's not a fit for me. I do hope these patients are truly helped by this online IOP.

Question 1
Are you comfortable working with many people with active SI and SH online and jumping in during an emergency if it's too urgent to refer to the crisis team.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Charlie Health in May 2026
Interview
I took a meeting with a recruiter from Charlie Health about contract work. To save you time, I'll let you know they are looking for facilitators to work evenings for $38 per hour. This is far below normal pay for a licensed therapist. I declined to pursue this further.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview was very brief because the recruiter asked about my usual rate and my availability to work evenings.
I met with a recruiter for a brief and informal interview. The follow ups are requested to be done in 24 hours which make the process feel pressured and rushed.
Half-hour interview with recruiter discussing job requirements and my own work experience. Plenty of time given to candidate to discuss their strengths and goals for their career. Company was prompt with communications and follow up.
