I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Charlie Health (Houston, TX) in May 2025
Interview
The interviewer was very nice for the most part. They ask a couple of questions. The second part is doing a visual test where you had to figure out the pattern of the shapes
I applied online. I interviewed at Charlie Health in Nov 2023
Interview
The initial interview was standard. General interview questions about your experience and why you want to work for the company. The recruiter was pleasant and seemed interested in what I had to say. Second part of the hiring process was a presentation, they gave me a case study and asked me to answer some questions based on the components of the case study. I had 5 days to complete this and believe me, I took the time to do the research, made calls, practiced on family just to ensure things went smoothly and the presentation did not go over the allotted time. I was somewhat excited and admittedly nervous to give this presentation as I worked hard on it so imagine my frustration and disappointment when the interviewer, was looking down on her phone while I was speaking. I got the idea that she immediately had no interest from the beginning as I was told I would be given 30 mins but she took up most of the time asking questions I have already answered in my previous interview, which is recorded using AI BTW. I left that meeting feeling genuinely sad and I have been in interviews before where I felt I did not perform well. But still this is a first. I don’t think applying at Charlie Health is worth the stress and pressure most people on here describe the hiring process as.

Interview
The first "interview" was just a series of questions that seemed scripted and what they seem to ask everyone that applies there. Was 30 mins and that was literally it. Second interview was a bit more personable and more like an interview. If you make it past that then you have to do a case study which they give you projects to choose from. You have two projects to complete and 10 mins for each and then 10 mins for them to ask questions. The case study is recorded and you have to create a dropbox and provide them your case study and any notes you may have taken or anything you created. I was not impressed with a couple of the individuals that sat in my case study as they didn't seem engaged or like they wanted to be in this presentation. One of them turned their camera off during the presentation which clearly lets you know they weren't paying attention. Maybe my presentation wasn't as engaging or entertaining, but still be professional and respectful. I was hoping to work for this company as I have heard good things from others, but the last round of interviews really did it for me. I always ask for feedback to make improvements moving forward and I reached out for some suggestions and didn't receive an email back. The only good thing I can say is that they don't keep you waiting on their decisions like some other companies do. As this is a startup company I hope for future candidates the interview process improves and you actually have people sitting in on the case studies that want to be there and will pay attention.
