I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Chart Industries (Ball Ground, GA) in Feb 2019
Interview
The phone interview seemed fine, but when I was interviewed by the team, one man scrutinized my engineering knowledge to an absurd degree. He wrote down control systems questions on the back of my resume and asked if I could handle it. You shouldn't have impromptu test taking in your interview. My impression was that he just wanted to make fun of young undergrads for their lack of experience, but it was him who proved he was unpleasant to work with in an engineering team.

Question 1
They asked me about my class work and projects, and when they heard I assisted in some lab research they started asking specific mathematical problems that didn't have to do with my experience there.
Great overall experience - friendly interviewing panel; Covid made things a bit challenging, but overall every one was courteous and helpful and made me feel comfortable.
2 rounds of interview followed by salary negotiations.
