Recruiter found me and asked for a phone interview. I accepted, phone interview lasted 20 minutes. The recruiter seemed well versed in the company's talking points, however couldn't answer my questions about the founder's story, why'd they start the company, or how they intended to stay relevant/grow with such a seemingly commoditized product. They don't own the background data, but are the last mile of delivery and focus on sub-24 hour delivery of background checks to customers. The focus according to the recruiter seemed to be that the addressable market was "any company in any industry."
