I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Checkr (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2015
Interview
The interview consisted of a live programming assignment, an informal group interview, and a software architecture whiteboard session.
I found the interviews reasonable, and Checkr was accommodating with my schedule and were able to move rather quickly given I was set to travel less than a week after initial contact.

Question 1
What was an unexpected challenge you came across at your last company, and how did you handle it?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Checkr (New York, NY) in Sep 2022
Interview
5 interviews, one had to be rescheduled because no one showed up. Was told I would hear back within 2 weeks. Never received follow up from them. Checked link to job posting and it's gone now. Would be nice if they had the courtesy to let me know. So unprofessional and frustrating to be ghosted after putting in so much time.
Before the last interview I got prompt responses about moving to the next stage each time so I really wasn't expecting them to just drop communication like that.
Overall felt like some of the interviews were a bit redundant, rehashing the same things for different people over and over.
They don't give you contact info for anyone you're interviewing with and only an email address for the interview coordinator, so that was annoying at the one no one showed up to as there wasn't a prompt way to contact someone about it and figure out what was going on. Would have been nice to have a phone number for the coordinator.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Checkr (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2016
Interview
Initial phone screen - nothing crazy, mostly my background and understanding the company
On site - 3 coding exercises, a whiteboard architecture discussion, and a culture interview with HR
The whole process is very fast! They will get back to you with a offer/rejection very quickly. Checkr also pushes you to accept the offer very quickly as well, so be prepared to make your decision.
