The next day, she confirmed the role had been filled, stating they were in the final stages with a candidate when she spoke to me. This suggests a significant lack of internal communication and coordination.
My time was not respected, and I was treated as a backup candidate for a role that was already essentially closed. This experience points to a disorganized and inefficient hiring process that is frustrating and unprofessional for applicants.
