I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen (Fort Worth, TX) in Jun 2012
Interview
As much as I'd like to be detailed and specific about the interview, there isn't much to say about it. The interviewing process was the worst I'd ever experienced. There were little to no questions asked except for what my availability was and what position I was applying for. There were other questions asked, such as if I were going to school, and if I were good with people. I had no prior work experience, so I was pretty shocked that they hired me. I guess they hire anyone that walks in the door.

Question 1
Honestly I was asked a total of maybe 5 questions, and I wouldn't describe any of them as difficult or unexpected.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen (Lansing, MI) in Jun 2011
Interview
I filled out an application and then came in the following week for an interview. The supervisor asked me my experience, asked me why I wanted to work there, and also explained to me what would be required of the job including training hours and usual amount of hours to start.

Question 1
The most unexpected question was what about myself would help me the most in starting a new job?
