Interview
I did a phone interview, and the interviewer actually called 10 minutes late. It started out with some basic questions, like tell me about your job experience and why you want to work here... but they seemed unprepared to ask me questions and paused a lot. They began to question if I am committed to the role, because I don't have a background primarily focused on the position. The way they questioned me made me feel they were belittling me and trying to push my away, and they said once I decide to make a career out of it then to call back. I understand that a switch in backgrounds can be concerning, but that doesn't mean there should be immediate doubt before I could explain myself.
