I applied online. I interviewed at Chemonics International (Washington, DC) in Feb 2017
Interview
I applied and got an email asking for a phone interview, the phone interview was with a senior HR representative. I waited for the call and figures out that the HR representative had forgotten about my phone interview so I emailed her back asking if she wanted to reschedule my interview. I finally had the phone interview and it thought it went great and I was given a panel interview for the next day. The panel interview consisted of 3 people, mostly asking situational questions. I thought it went great too and was told that I would be contacted in a week. 2 weeks later I contacted the HR representative to get some news and never heard back. this was 4 months ago, so it is safe to assume that I did not get the position. The least they could have done was return my email and let me know that I did not get the position. Was very disappointed by the company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
when do you think it's best to communicate in person vs. email?
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Chemonics International in Jun 2024
Interview
The interview process began with a phone screening conducted by HR, followed by a panel interview with three individuals several weeks later. There was approximately a three-week gap between the two stages.
The recruiter and the interview panelists were kind, encouraging, and responsive throughout the interviews, which I appreciated. I was informed that I would receive an update on the next steps shortly, but I was ultimately left without any further communication.
It's disappointing and disrespectful for candidates to undergo two rounds of interviews without receiving any follow-up. While candidates are expected to be prompt and communicative, companies often do not uphold the same standard.
I have recruited and interviewed for positions in the past, so I understand the challenges of the process. However, I still made efforts to regularly communicate with candidates out of respect for their time and efforts. Too bad Chemonics doesn't do the same.

There has been 1 interview so far, not sure if there will be more than 1 interviews. The whole process has taken a couple of weeks since I first applied
