majority of postings are pre-determined, but posted to meet required protocols. Chemonics has a nasty hiring habit. The Human Resources team, because of previous penalties, redefined the HR role, but it's the same non-sense with an extra step. Perhaps other companies are as unethical, but Chemonics is the worst I have seen, Execs are blatant with it. When staff members complained, they were told to leave the company if they did not like it

Phone screen with a recruiter, panel interview, and a final one on one with department Vice President. I found the panel interview to be particularly great for my interview - got to engage with the hiring manager and also folks outside the team. Useful to gauge company culture
First round of the interview was with an HR recruiter who asked a lot a background/general questions. The second round was with actual members of the team I would be working with.
