Interview
I was contacted within two weeks of submitting my resume online to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview (although ten minutes late) was very comfortable and the woman interviewing me was very friendly, asking fairly standard questions about my past experiences. I also had to define the three core values, as noted in previous notes for this position. She told me at the end of the phone interview that I was invited to an in-person panel interview. In all, the phone interview was almost exactly thirty minutes and I had a very good experience.
I interviewed in person two weeks later in their office in DC. The panel interviewers took turns asking questions, most of which were situations. I was also asked a question in French to test my language skills.
I applied online. I interviewed at Chemonics International (Washington, DC) in Mar 2021
Interview
Very smooth and chill. First the recruiter contacted me and scheduled an interview via Macrosoft team meeting. It lasted 30 minutes and she asked general question to understand my interest for the position. Next she asked several situational questions to identify my time management capabilities and interpersonal skills. After my interview with the recruiter, she scheduled the interview with 3 hiring team members. That interview lasted one hour. Again general question to understand your personality

Phone Interview - 20 minutes. Typical questions about my experience and interests in the company. Switched between languages. Know why you want to work there. Also asked about salary expectations and the work Chemonics does.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Chemonics International (Arlington, VA) in Feb 2017
Interview
I applied online and was contacted a few weeks later for a 30 phone interview. The HR representative asked a few routine questions to gauge my fit and interests. Over the phone, she said she would like to schedule an in-person interview for the following week. With a delay due to the inauguration, I had a one hour interview at the Arlington, VA office two weeks later. Chemonics has a VERY structured style of interviewing where the participants have standard questions (mostly situational) and go around in a circle reading the questions from the paper. It felt awkward and unnatural, but if you can think on your feet and try to stay personable in what feels like a robotic situation, you'll be fine. Since the position required modest language abilities, I was asked a question in French and able to reply in English. My final interview was with the overall director of the project. We talked by phone for about 30 minutes. She asked questions about my ability to learn new skills and my language abilities.
