Interview
The process started well with great communication from the recruiter. I completed a series of interviews in a few weeks and then.... silence.. I followed up professionally over about 4 weeks and then they reached out to set up an a site visit in a different city nearby. That went well and then....silence. Another 6 weeks later I received a canned message saying the position was now being placed on hold. Terrible follow up from this group. If a person isn't a fit or if the position is being placed on hold then just say. But to have people go through 4-5 interviews and then ghost them for weeks is not a company I would want to be a part of. Too much red tape here.

Interview
Recruiter found me and called me and interviewed me. Set up a phone interview same week with hiring manager. That went seemingly fine - she ended with I'd like to bring you in for a face to face. Recruiter contacted me the next business day and set up face to face interview (for later same week). Received text from recruiter day before interview letting me know that they hired someone so my face to face was a no-go. I had heard beforehand that their hiring processes a little suspect at times but I had high hopes they would prove the rumors wrong. Hopes dashed.

Hello Anonymous, I'm sorry to hear about your experience with us as it appears that there may have been some bad timing with another candidate receiving an offer prior to you interviewing with us. We wouldn't want to spin your wheels if another candidate accepted an offer prior to you coming in but it appears that we may have missed the mark to communicate verbally so I'd like to learn more as it's not in our practice to only text in these scenarios.
If you are comfortable, please email us at Talentacquisition@chenmed.com, I'd like this opportunity to learn more about your experience and use it as a takeaway to help educate our recruiter and to enhance the overall experience of our candidates.
