The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chewy (New York, NY)
Interview
Too good to be true. Had two rounds of 1:1 discussions with HR and hiring manager and was given feedback to expect "to do very well in the interview process". Next round with a Sr Director who was cold and kept a stern poker face. While he was touted as an 'industry expert' (with less than 8 years of experience), there was clearly no appreciation of my 15+ years. After multiple requests for feedback, I was ghosted. Then received a standard form letter from HR stating they had selected other candudates. While the Chewy Operating Principles look impressive on paper, it seems they are superficial. There are recent LinkedIn articles about red flags of interview processes and my experience with Chewy met several of those warning signs. Smells like a lack of diversity along with age bias. I will rethink my Chewy customer account and chose to support local pet stores.

very formal, initial phone screen, then 1:1 meetings with a couple of other members. Final round was 4x back to back. My advice would be to learn the STAR method
No feedback unfortunately was given upon rejection

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chewy in Mar 2022
Interview
The process started with two separate phone/zoom screens, each for 30 minutes. I was told to expect an invitation for an on-site interview loop with 4-5 people, however I never heard back. I did follow up with the recruiter and was told that I wasn't a good fit for the role. I asked for feedback as to why I was not a good fit but she didn't have any.
