Interview
My interview at Chewy went exceptionally well—I received positive feedback and felt things were moving in the right direction. When you called, I thought it was great news and felt a sense of relief. But the next day, everything fell apart.
I was told that two recruiters had been working on the same role and that someone else had already been hired. This is the third time something like this has happened with Chewy—first due to internal hiring, then a system duplication, and now a misalignment in the process.
For someone who has been preparing and applying tirelessly, this repeated outcome is incredibly disheartening. It's emotionally exhausting to get your hopes up, only to have them crushed again and again.
I sincerely hope no other candidate has to go through this. The process needs to be more structured and transparent to avoid giving false hope.

Contacted by recruiter, was given the pivot challenge on Leetcode fair question but I was unable to solve it. Fair interview very cool company. First phone screen and then a one hour technical.
