I applied online. I interviewed at Chicago Public Schools
Interview
Due to COVID 19, interview process was different than it usually would be. It was a half hour phone interview with one of the school social work managers. Pretty average questions and relaxed vibe. The whole process was very slow.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Chicago Public Schools (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2017
Interview
The process was very regimented (in a good way). First I completed a writing sample and then they asked a spreadsheet of questions to maintain consistency between candidates. The interviewers were positive, warm and personable throughout the interview. They did appear to appreciate the questions that I asked them at the end. It did run extremely long, as I started almost an hour late.
