      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Chick-fil-A Corporate (Home) in Apr 2015

      Interview

Completed the online question form. Then completed the 20 page application. Got selected for a phone interview, but was not selected to move further in the process. It took about 5 months to get from the online question form to the phone interview. My phone interviewer sad that roughly two-thirds of Chick-fil-A operators are selected from those with prior Chick-fil-A experience. She also said they had received 30,000 expressions of interest in the last year. I could be wrong, but from what I can tell from Linked-in there are about 5 people who do the phone interviews, and based on time slots I was offered I think each does about 3 per day. That means about 3750 people get phone interviews. Not sure how many move on from there. Also, doing the math, Chick-fil-A opens about 100 stores per year, and with 66 going to those with prior Chick-fil-A experience, that leaves about 34 for those without Chick-fil-A experience. The odds are not in your favor.
