The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chipotle in Jun 2012
Interview
Chipotle hires based on personality, not experience. The manager I whom interviewed with was respectful, but highly judgmental. They will positively ask you what you know about the company, so make sure to research their policies on food quality. Generally, the other employees there seemed like pretty nice people, and you could tell they made it in on attitude, not how many hours they were willing to work (unlike other fast food joints I've interviewed at).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is good customer service?, (followed by what is GREAT customer service?)
Just applied online and then got a call to come in for an interview. it was a very straightforward process. interviewed right there in the seating area by the hiring manager.
the interview was very professional and respectful. i appreciated the clear questions and respectful environment. i was given water and they actually sent an email saying i was rejected instead of ghosting me, nice
Easy got the job right away with no experience. NEGATIVE: you need to buy new shoes and was not told this until my first shift...What stood out most was the lack of professionalism. The environment seemed chaotic, and employees appeared stressed and overworked, which made me question the overall workplace culture.
Overall, the experience didn’t reflect well on the company, and it made me reconsider wanting to work there. I hope they improve their interview process to better respect candidates’ time and present a more positive image of their workplace.
