I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chipotle (Oceanside, CA) in May 2013
Interview
If you walk in you get a card that you fill out. Then you go online and fill out an application. Then there is one group interview with the restaurateur and another interview with the assistant. The assistant told me that I would get a call back in 24 hours but when I called them they told me that I was going to get a call back on Friday. So I called them on Friday where they told me that they had filled the position.
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (West Hartford, CT) in May 2026
Interview
I scheduled an interview, but when I arrived the first time the manager was not there, so I had to reschedule. At the second interview, I waited about 10–15 minutes before the manager was ready. The interview itself was short, around 10 minutes, and mostly consisted of behavioral questions read from a sheet. Overall, the process felt disorganized and not very personal, but the questions were straightforward.
