I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chipotle (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2013
Interview
There was a total of three interviews. The first one was in a job fair setting. It was me and another girl talking to the hiring manager. The questions were all about you. They want to know your interests. MAKE SURE YOU DO RESEARCH ABOUT THE COMPANY! The same day you were called back for the 2nd interview (if you weren't called that means you will not get the job). The second interview happened a few hours later. This interview consisted of 8 - 10 people. I don't remember the exact number. I just know way less than the first interview. This one was a group interview. We were all asked the same questions. Ex: "Why do you want to work for Chipotle?"
Then they sent us home. They said they'll contact whomever they want for the 3rd and final interview. I was called the same day and was told to come in for the 3rd interview on Friday (two days post the 1st and 2nd interview). I came in for the 3rd interview. I was told to that the hiring manager is not there, so they sent me home. I was also told to call back to reschedule my interview. I called back the next day and was told to come in a week later. I thought that it was so unprofessional that I decided to skip the third interview for another interview. I got that job on the spot.
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Bixby Knolls, CA) in Jul 2026
Interview
The interview was pretty easy, but I had to wait 30 to 40 minutes after my interview was scheduled to be interviewed. Inside the Chipotle, it was extremely hot and really uncomfortable, but other than that, the interview was pretty easy. But I haven’t heard back, as I was supposed to get a call on Sunday.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They mainly asked me for my availability throughout the week, if I’m able to work weekends, what my good and bad qualities were, and that’s pretty much it and hobbies.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.

Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
