I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle in Sep 2013
Interview
Applied online got called in for interview about a week later. Talked with 2 managers the first day and they basically asked what I knew about Chipotle and about my availability. They scheduled me for a second interview two days later and I met with another manager and we talked about basically the same things. I pretty much knew I had the job but the general manager was opening a new store in another town and wouldn't be back for about 3 weeks so they'd call me when she was in so I could do the paperwork (you don't do paperwork if you don't have the job). I called a week later just to keep my name fresh and was told they were still waiting for the manager to come in. They called a a little over a week after that and scheduled me to come in the next week to meet with the GM. The GM and I never really interviewed she just ran my SS card and ID and that was it and then she said she'd have the apprentice call and schedule me to come in for orientation. Got the call that same night to go in 5 days later for orientation. TL;DR- Applied online, took about 4 1/2 weeks only because the GM was away. Very easy interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Bixby Knolls, CA) in Jul 2026
Interview
The interview was pretty easy, but I had to wait 30 to 40 minutes after my interview was scheduled to be interviewed. Inside the Chipotle, it was extremely hot and really uncomfortable, but other than that, the interview was pretty easy. But I haven’t heard back, as I was supposed to get a call on Sunday.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They mainly asked me for my availability throughout the week, if I’m able to work weekends, what my good and bad qualities were, and that’s pretty much it and hobbies.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.

Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
