Went to restaurant and sat down with the manager of the store, discussed values and food safety and sanitation protocol and then discussed schedule, work hours and expectations, They also asked for my size for a uniform shirt.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chipotle (Schaumburg, IL) in Dec 2016
Interview
Met 3 - 4 different managers, and interviewed with staff. The conversations were short and geared toward getting to know who I was and what I liked about the company. The staff members did not ask much, rather the conversation was free flowing and later I learned was just to "get a feel" if I would fit in to their team.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Managers will ask about how well you know the company goals and sustainable efforts. Typical questions regarding availability and whether you are in school. Nothing extremely hard, but I do suggest reading into the company and knowing more than just the food is good.
Easy interview process, they asked simple questions asking about my availability and what team work mean s to me. Also asked about my performance working under pressure. Manager was nice and friendly
I arrived for the interview feeling relaxed and ready. The hiring manager greeted me warmly, and we quickly hit it off in conversation. The questions were straightforward, mostly about my background and interest in the role, making it feel more like a casual chat than a formal interview. Within minutes, the manager seemed impressed and mentioned that I’d be a great fit for the team. By the end of our talk, I was offered the position on the spot. To wrap things up, the manager gave me a tour of the facilities, explaining the work environment and introducing me to a few team members.
